My connection to construction started early in my career, working for a general contractor. I inherited inefficient accounting processes and software that could do far more than the company was using it for. I streamlined the work and automated tasks that had taken hours by hand. When I was promoted to Controller, the company didn’t need to replace me in my previous role. Those improvements saved the cost of an additional employee. That experience shaped how I approach business today: understand what’s happening, find what needs to change, and turn that insight into a financial benefit. For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across accounting, finance leadership, consulting, and business systems. I’ve built an accounting services practice and partnered with owners, CEOs, and CFOs to strengthen financial operations and make better decisions. Now I’m bringing that experience back to trades contractors—owners who have built successful businesses but expected more cash, more profit, and more freedom to show for it.
